Our flagship location on Verona Island opened in 2021. Our 24/7 Location in Holden and Ellsworth opened in 7/2024 and 11/24. Storefront in Ellsworth, 1/25! You can also find our sweet treats at Stewart's Grocery & Take Out in Jonesport.
We are excited to announce that we are officially under contract to purchase Glenn’s Place Family Restaurant & Pub in Bucksport. We know the amount of work that Glenn, Clarence and their team have put into making Glenn’s Place the go-to place for a great meal. We know the pride they have in their food and the atmosphere they have created. The reputation they have built helped to make our decision much easier. We can’t thank them enough and we intend to embrace these same standards and maintain them with the highest level of attention going forward.
We intend to keep things ‘business as usual’, for now. Except for one big change; Breakfast! That’s right! We are extremely excited to bring Sweet Cheeks breakfast to Bucksport! For years, so many that have graced our doorways on Verona Island have longed for a place to sit down and enjoy their breakfast. Now we are going to make it happen! Our fluffy omelets, overstuffed breakfast burritos, home fries made on the grill, scrumptious muffins, real ‘not from a can’ corned beef hash, our own homemade toast and so much more! We will be posting more updates along the way so please stay tuned! We hope you are as excited as we are for this newest Sweet Cheeks adventure!

About the Scholarships
The scholarships are given to a graduating student of Jonesport-Beals High School and one to Bucksport High School that show a desire and commitment for post-secondary education in a technical field; a student pursuing a culinary career is given first preference.
Eligibility Criteria
*Students must have attended JBHS or BUCKSPORT HS for 3 consecutive years.
*Show/Explain financial need
*Students do not need to be the top of the class, but a demonstrated dedication to studies should be shown.
